Hafiy!

Let me introduce my first nephew, Hafiy!

I was trusted to prepare a gift for Hafiy's nanny who has left in the first week of August.  Poor Hafiy, he's going to get a new nanny again! Hopefully he's going to get an equally good nanny like the previous two or a better one. Please go here if you want to take a peek of Hafiy when he was few months old.

Anyway, here's what I have made - a basket consists of floral bouquet, a card in a box, and peanut candies in a tin :

I was glad to know that Cikgu Ida loved the gifts. Once again, time was quite an issue when I prepared the gifts as I was told that Cikgu Ida would be leaving a week earlier (due to Eid ul Fitr). My other half knew how messy the craft room was at that time as I did not have time to clear the supplies used for previous projects. Haha. Nevertheless, I simply love crafting :)

Thanks for looking!

Iftar Gifts for K-Fiqh

Where has July gone? This is indeed a long overdue post, our Ramadhan assignment.  We have tried few times to write and upload the pics but failed to finish blogging.  Anyway during the month of July, we were approached by a friend to come up with an Iftar gift for the participants.  Time and budget were quite an issue but we have given our best to fulfill our client's request and managed to create with so much love ;)

Without further ado, let's have a look at what we have made, incorporating the idea or request from the client of course :

We also took the opportunity to introduce our first basket hamper during the month of Ramadhan.  The basket generally consists of floral bouquet, freshly made cookies, dates, and peanut candies.  For this special Ramadhan event, we have included air zam zam in the gift pack.

As you may see, we did not have time to take many photos during the preparation and even the final products.  Nevertheless, we have thoroughly enjoyed making and dressing up the gifts.  Looking at the 100 paper bags at the end of the day has given us an indescribable satisfaction.

Special thanks to a dear friend Shikin for the trust she put on us!  By the way we have just finished editing pics for our latest task, hopefully we don't take long to put up everything on the blog :)

Till soon. Have a good day!
