Darling Doilies

I LOVE pretty paper doilies to bits.  They are just one of many other adorable stuff on earth :)  Here are purple and apple green doilies made for a dear bride to be. I dolled up the box for her, as my humble gift to a dear friend.

As a card maker, you will find me using lots of doilies in my creations.  These are among the latest :

For a Nanny

When Aishah asked me to create something for her son's nanny who's leaving end of February, I was excited. I knew straightaway that I would make a mini album either for the nanny or for the mother. She said she wanted a card and a photo of her son and left everything to me to decide on what to come up with.  

I made a card and something like a tag (a bigger version than a normal tag size) for the nanny and also made a mini album of her darling son for Aishah.  I remember I really enjoyed creating these stuff. Hope they love it!

 

Blogging and Sharing

It took us real LONG to start our own blog.  We had first launched our Facebook page around first quarter last year thinking that an FB page should be enough to showcase our services and end product.  Not until one day when one of us wanted to pin an image from Papermint's FB page and realized that it couldn't be pinned.  We wanted to have our portfolio in one folder and we have initially chosen Pinterest.  That was when we thought that a Papermint blog should be a brilliant solution.  Since we have always enjoyed writing and sharing, we thought that this could be another good platform to introduce and establish Papermint to our potential clients.

Honestly we are in the midst of designing our permanent logo and blog.  Since we both have our own full-time job, we are targeting that the whole design project will be completed in middle of April the earliest.  We can only tell that the logo and the overall look of our blog will reflect our minimalist but exclusive style.  We just can't wait to share ;)
